Queen Mary Suite

The Queen Mary Suite is our latest room addition and is luxury at it’s finest. This room comes complete with a separate living area and has the most spectacular views over the hotels extensive and impressive gardens. The suite is located in the oldest part of the house and is steeped in Whitley Hall history. The name is derived from the ceiling located in the living area of the suite which, as legend has it, was originally commissioned by Mary Queen of Scots when she was held at the hall during her period of captivity at Sheffield’s Manor Castle.

As well as boasting a number of period features this room also has a contemporary feel with the addition of modern day luxuries such as 55inch smart TV’s in each room, Nespresso coffee machine and a style which marries the old and new perfectly. The bathroom has also been designed with extravagance in mind and comes complete with a bath with a 12 jet whirlpool injection system providing the ultimate in relaxation. Luxury toiletries, revitalising face masks, sumptuous bathrobes and slippers complete the package for an escape that is pure indulgence.
