The Parker Suite overlooks the main house and has direct access onto a covered private heated terrace complete with a pier and private gardens.This room also now comes with its own stunning outside ceremony area and rustic outside bar available to hire exclusively for you and your guests.There are plenty of picturesque photo opportunities available to capture those special moments from it’s original stone wall to the beautiful pier extending over the lake.
The room itself is full of old- world charm and plenty of character with it’s quaint sash windows and feature wall all complimented by traditional wood panelling.The suite is self- contained and has its own separate entrance and a private indoor bar area which is reserved exclusively for you and your guests along with air conditioning for those long hot summer days.
The Parker suite can cater for up to 60 guests for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast and 80 guests for you evening celebrations.

The Parker Suite is one of the most characterful areas of our lovely hotel and simply oozes old world charm from each and every corner. From its original sash windows overlooking the main house to the stunning stone wall etched with wording referencing some of the halls previous occupants, this room is steeped in Whitley history.
So whether you have a larger wedding planned using the entirety of the space or a more intimate wedding where you can be seated all together on a large oval table this room provides the perfect ambience to compliment your wedding day.

For your evening celebrations this room transforms to a more informal setting. It comes complete with dancefloor, indoor bar, ambient lighting and direct access onto your private heated outdoor terrace area. Our state of the art lighting system can be tailored to match your wedding theme and creates the perfect party atmosphere for you and your guests to dance the night away.
For an additional cost our twinkle dancefloor can be hired for this room for that added extra wow factor.
Outdoor Ceremony Area
Our latest addition to this already stunning outdoor space is our incredible new ceremony area available exclusively to hire for the Parker Suite. Couples can now exchange their vows against the backdrop of the beautiful gardens whilst listening to the gentle pattering of the fountain falling into the lake adjacent to this area. Surrounded by lush green gardens and mature woodland this area is simply the perfect oasis for you to begin your married life together.
Outdoor Bar & Terrace
The outdoor space allocated to this room has everything. Overlooking one of our two lakes at the hotel, with its own pier extending across the water and an outdoor bar available to hire this space has everything you could want and more. With ambient lighting showcasing our mature gardens, gentle background music and it’s quirky outdoor furniture this space provides charm and class in abundance.

The Parker Lake Pier is perfect for photographs on your special day. Jetting out over the lake this makes a perfect backdrop for your loving wedding shots.
Additional Breakout Areas
Add on by taking semi-exclusive use
If semi exclusive use is taken for this suite we are also pleased to be able to offer our restaurant and lounge areas for use during the daytime and evening. Not only does this mean that the capacity increases for an evening reception but it also gives you the added luxury of two extra rooms for your guests to spread out and take advantage of. Our lounge area has an open fire which is lit during the winter months and plenty of comfortable armchairs and sofas. So your guests can sit, relax and have a catch up with friends and family whist soaking up the atmosphere of our 16th century manor house.
Our restaurant also comes as part of this package and again provides additional seating or space for those added extras such as a photo booth, sweet cart or even a few arcade games to keep the big and little kids entertained!!
